FIRST STREETWEAR BRAND TO MAKE IT TO THE TOP OF MOUNT KILIMANJARO, THE WORLDS TALLEST FREE STANDING MOUNTAIN!

No co-signs. No shortcuts. No sympathy.

Six days. 19,341 feet. No oxygen.
The GABOS London team just did what no other streetwear brand has ever done — we climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, all the way to Uhuru Peak, the roof of Africa.

We didn’t do it for clout.
We did it for the GABOS Famlee — for the people who live by the mantra:
“Winners Never Quit.”
Because this is what that really means.

The Climb: The Machame Route

We took the Machame Route — known as the “Whiskey Route.”
Steep. Relentless. Demanding.
Six days of switchbacks, altitude headaches, cold nights, and lungs burning thinner by the hour.

No oxygen tanks.
No luxury setups.
Just us, the mountain, and the mindset that built this brand.

Each step was a test — the kind of test that doesn’t care about your name, your followers, or your label.
It only asks: will you keep going when everything in you says stop?

That’s GABOS.

The Grind Behind the Glory

The climb wasn’t cheap — physically or financially.

Flights. Gear. Guides. Camps. Training.
Every detail mattered. Every pound spent came from the same belief that started this brand in the first place:
nothing great comes easy.

The mountain doesn’t care about hype.
But it respects heart, strength, discipline and determination. We set a goal long before we even flew to Tanzania to embark on the challenge. We had only one outcome in mind and that was to make it to the top. No matter what!

The Peak: Uhuru — Freedom

After five days on the grind, we reached Uhuru Peak, 5,895 meters above sea level.

We set off at midnight in minus degree weather. The only thing keeping us from freezing into an ice block was the Gabos Street Bomber puffer which got us so hot on the climb that we eventually took it off. Now talk about being warm!

The moment we touched the top, we planted what represents every single person who’s believed in GABOS from day one:

A GABOS flag.
Still standing there now — wrapped around the pillar to remind the world:
The Game Ain’t Based on Sympathy.

We didn’t climb it for fame.
We climbed it to prove the message that built this movement:
That no matter how high the climb, how difficult the challenge may seem winners never quit. We will always go for the Gold!

For the Famlee

This one’s for every person who’s ever rocked a puffer, copped a tee, pulled up to a pop-up, or shouted “GABOS” with pride.
You’re part of this story.

Because when we say Famlee, it’s not just a word — it’s the backbone of what we do.
We took you with us every step of that climb.

Now the flag’s there, sitting at the top of Africa — as a reminder of what we all stand for.

What made the challenge even more special is we did it all the while, wearing out very own Gabos London Fits. You know we had to stay fly and comfortable doing it.

The people have been asking is Gabos now an outdoor brand movement ? We'll let the Famlee decide!

To every dream-chaser, creative, and hustler:
You don’t need permission to climb your own mountain.
You just need heart.

Stay locked — this is only the beginning.
GABOS to the world.
